Hobnobbing at the Garden of Earthly Delights

“Happiness is like glass, it soon breaks.”

                                                                (Flemish saying)

hobnob [ˈhɒbˌnɒb]
vb -nobs, -nobbing, -nobbed (intr; often foll by with)
1. to socialize or talk informally.

Based on the famous triptych “The garden of the earthly delights” from Hieronymus  Bosch, the show is focused on the central panel which gives its name to the entire piece, representing a garden of life’s delights or pleasures. “Between paradise and hell, these delights are nothing more than allusions to sin, showing humankind dedicated to diverse wordly pleasures…”

This is reinterpreted in a contemporary language, recreating scenes, events and characters that in some way have marked the society or remain in the collective memory. All these scenes show that we are in a false paradise where everything in it is not what it seems.
